coffee.bean12 asked: Is it safe to take stilnox and Diazepam together?
I do not mean like swallow both at once, but if I am on Diazepam during the day/evening, how long should I be waiting before I can take a stilnox at night?
And if I am on both medications is there a limit to how many should be taken?
I have been prescribed 20mg stilnox and the diazepam was introduced by another doctor who might not have been aware I am on stilnox still. The diazepam is to take as required through day or night, 5-10mg.
Please no ‘you should be asking your doctor this’.

JustJules asked: I am hopeful that I will be getting a job for which I am going interview. I anticipate that a drug test will be required. I take valium (as needed). I do have a prescription, but I don’t necessarily want my potential employer to know that I take it. I also take antidepressants. Will they test for this as well?
I really feel like this is an invasion of my privacy.

My 77 yr old mother has taken Valium since the 1970’s. She quit smoking about 15 yrs ago because she has emphysema. She is sort of a nervous person who worries about everything so she has always taken Valium to help with that anxiety. Now, at 77, she is depressed and thinks life is basically over, and when she gets low on Valium her worrying gets worse. Seems to me she is hooked on Valium and it is aiding in her depression. Any thoughts on that?

I take Diazepam very rarely and I take anafranil for OCD and paxil for social anxiety disorder.
I’ve always had a problem with constant sleepiness/laziness. Is there anything out there that would give me that ” boost ” to get through the day without taking a 3 or 4 hour nap???

I was taking klonopin (clonazepan) for social anxiety for about a month when i realized that it just wasn’t having the same efficacy that it had when i started taking it. ive been off it for about a week now. how long, in general, would it take for this tolerance to go away? is there any way to artificially (with medicine, for instance) lower benzodiazepine tolerance?

I take xanax for anxiety and vicodin for pain (carefully monitored and prescribed by an MD). When I take my xanax (.5mg) for the day, my vicodin doesn’t seem to work properly. Has anyone else had this experience or know if this is even a real problem?

A friend of mine has been taking Loram (or otherwise known Lorazepam) to control her stress and restless nights. But now I see her taking it all the time, like it’s the answer to everything. How can I help her?
